Frequently-Asked Questions

Does the event cost money?

No, this is a free event, although time-of-entry tickets are required. If you are willing and able, we would appreciate an online donation to our fundraiser for Give Kids the World Village. Details can be found on signs and collateral at the event. We do not accept cash donations.

Why do you require tickets? What if I lose or can’t find my ticket?

In past years, we have had extremely long lines with wait times as long as three hours. With a time-of-entry ticketing system, we can reduce wait times, prevent having to turn people away, and avoid disturbing the neighborhood by running too late. If you misplace your ticket, just give us your name.

Where can I park my car?

Street parking is limited on Magnolia so try neighboring streets then walk to Magnolia. You may drop off your party then join them after you park. Please do not double park or block driveways!

What can I expect?

This is a walk-through haunted house type attraction. This is a family-friendly event and appropriate for young children. The scares are fairly tame and there is no blood and gore. There will be some flashing lights and fog effects.

How long does the event last?

Once you enter, you can race through in less than 30 minutes, but you are welcome to explore a lot longer if you want. Nobody will tell you to leave until we close at 10pm. There are some side attractions and photo areas where small line queues may require an additional wait.

Can I bring my dog?

Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome.

Do you have restrooms?

No, unfortunately we do not have public restrooms available at our event.

Can I bring my own food & beverages?

Guests may take their own beverages & food with them in line as long as they are careful. Please be courteous to other guests and our property. Our trash & recycling cans are out front at the driveway exit.

I have a health condition. Is it safe to attend this event?

Please do not enter if you have a serious health concern or sensitivity to flashing lights. Do not enter if you have pre-existing medical conditions and especially any type of heart or respiratory condition. You assume all risk when you enter.

Can you accommodate disabilities? Are you wheelchair accessible? Do you have steps or uneven ground?

Our pathways are all flat on pavers, on artificial grass, or 32" wide plywood ramps over a couple steps. The narrowest point is a 29” gate. We can escort a wheelchair or walker through difficult areas. We have audio in all areas to enhance visually-impaired experiences.

What is your charity "Give Kids the World Village"?

Give Kids the World Village(TM) is an 84-acre, nonprofit “storybook” resort located near Central Florida’s most beloved attractions, where critically-ill children and their families are treated to week-long, cost-free dream vacations in association with the Make-A-Wish program. Please donate!

Do we go inside the house? How old is the house?

You cannot go inside the house, but you can walk around the property. Our Queen Anne Victorian home was built in 1890, still standing strong, and we are taking care of her to last another 100 years after us. You can follow tag #EerieEleganceEstate on Instagram & Facebook to see our remodel progress.

Do you do this every year?

Yes! You can see past Halloween photos and videos on EerieElegance.com and our Eerie Elegance YouTube channel.

What will be your theme for Halloween 2026?

We will bring back our Haunted Hollywood display, showcasing the old movie monsters from almost a century ago, including Frankenstein, Dracula, Wolfman, and King Kong!

Can I ask additional questions?

If you have additional questions, please message us on Instagram or Facebook or email at EerieElegance @ gmail.com, but please note we won’t be able to reply until after showtime is over.
